Here are the questions for your portfolio presentation on WED AUG. 31st. Notice I changed the date? Please type or paraphrase the questions in your answers. Be as descriptive as possible.
1) What 2D medium do you feel the most successful with and why do you consider yourself successful with it?
2) Further, what are the aesthetic qualities you like about the medium and how can they enhance an artist's vision or meaning in their art work?
3) What 2D medium do you feel the least successful with and why?
4) What are the aesthetic qualities artists might find with this medium? (Forget about your experience with the medium or your personal judgement against the medium and describe the good qualities please.)
5) What medium would you like to try or try more because of limited experience?
6) What art style, artists, art movement etc.. are inspiring to you at this time? Why?
These questions will help determine the mediums used for your first 5 projects of the fall semester. The better you understand why artists choose certain mediums over others, the better your art. Booyah.
