Syllabus
Today we will review the syllabus and learn about ART 1 including class and behavior expectations, grading, projects, etc. Each student will receive a printed syllabus for the ART 1 course. Parents need to review the syllabus and students are held responsible for the content. 

Expectations
The classroom expectations will be thoroughly explained along with an example of the work ethic and the effort expected for each assignment. The classroom expectations are outlined in the pages tab above.

Perfect Star and Circle
The first drawing assignment will be of a perfect five pointed star and a perfectly even circle. The star and circle must appear to be even on all sides. No devices except a pencil, paper and an eraser will be used. The objectives of the assignment is to follow instructions through example, understand expectations for each assignment, and to not give up on making something on how it is intended to be depicted.

Homework
Signed Syllabus, Contact Info, and Material Usage fee. All due by Sept. 7th.
