The mind map exercise will help students determine the mood of their self portrait and their expression. Student's individual maps will begin with their name in the middle. Four branches will stem out from their name: "Self Perception", "Other's Perception", "Ideal Perception" and "Current mood". Self perception relates to how the student perceives them self. Other's perception relates to how other people may view the student. Ideal perception relates to how the student would like to be perceived and current mood relates to how the student feels at that moment in time. Each branch will have at least 10 words, sentences, or drawings that relate to the topic.
